Swiss Flight - Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Swiss flight all about?

Swiss flight is an opportunity to fly over Switzerland (or from Switzerland to another country) at a reasonable price. For more information visit the opportunity page.

How much does it cost?

The direct costs for the plane and landings are split between me as a pilot and the passengers in equal shares. I have covered all the annual subscriptions for the planes and you will not have to pay for them. This gives you a very attractive opportunity to enjoy a flight over Switzerland at a reasonable price. Learn more on the facts and prices page.

What is the course of a flight?

After all checks are made, we take off from the departure airport and head for our route to the destination airport. After the flight we deal with all formalities and prepare the plane for it's next flight. You will have the opportunity to see what every pilot (private or commercial) does in his job outside and inside the cockpit. For much more details visit the course of a flight page.

What shall I take with me for the flight?

Don't forget to take your ID; it will be checked especially when flying from Zurich or in other countries. You should also take sun glasses in the summer as well as in the winter. It is a good idea to have some warm clothes in the winter and especially when crossing the Alps. I will arrange for headsets which are a must in these planes.

What kind of insurances are included in the price of the plane?

All planes I fly with are insured with liability insurance, accident insurance for the passengers and comprehensive insurance. You will receive a ticket for the flight which describes conditions of the liability insurance.
